Terms of Service

Eayo helps you decide where to eat and go out in Singapore. You pick an occasion (or skip and let us decide), and we suggest places and a simple night plan.

Eayo is not:

• a restaurant, bar, café, or booking service;
• a reservation, delivery, payment, or ticketing platform;
• a guarantee that a place is open, available, good, safe, halal, allergen-free, or “won’t flop”;
• legal, medical, or dietary advice.

We do not own or operate the venues we suggest. Any meal, booking, wait, bill, dress code, or experience is between you and the venue.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract under Singapore law.

The Service is intended for use in Singapore. Plans may include bars, wine, cocktails, or other alcohol. You are responsible for complying with the legal drinking age and all other laws that apply to you.

If you use Eayo on someone else’s behalf (for example, planning a group night), you confirm you have the right to do so.

Eayo does not require you to create a named login. We may create a guest session on your device so you can save plans.

Saved plans and preferences are tied to this device / this guest session. If you delete the app, clear app data, or use “Delete my data”, those plans may be gone. Cross-device sign-in may be added later; until then, do not rely on Eayo as a permanent archive.

You are responsible for anyone who uses Eayo on your device.

You can pick an area yourself or allow Eayo to use your device location so suggestions are nearby.

Location is optional. If you refuse GPS, you can still use the Service by choosing an area (including “Anywhere”).

You must only submit location or area information that you are allowed to use. Do not use Eayo to track someone else.

Picks, rankings, “good time” style scores, spend estimates, opening-hour guesses, dietary filters (including Halal and vegetarian), and dress-up / vibe labels are automated suggestions. They are generated from third-party data (including Google), our own ranking rules, and your inputs.

They can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. In particular:

• Halal / dietary filters are not MUIS certification and are not a safety or religious guarantee. Always check with the venue.
• Prices are estimates, not a bill.
• Hours, wait times, availability, and dress codes can change. Confirm with the venue.
• Photos come from third parties and may not match what you see in person.
• A “best pick” is not a promise it will go well.

You use suggestions at your own risk. If in doubt, check Google Maps, the venue, or another source before you go.

Eayo uses Google Maps and Google Places (and may use other providers) to show maps, names, ratings, photos, and place details.

Your use of map and place features is also subject to:

• Google Maps / Google Earth Additional Terms of Service
• Google Privacy Policy

Apple, Google, and any app store you download Eayo from have their own terms. Those terms apply to the store relationship; these Terms apply to Eayo itself.

We may also use hosting, analytics, crash reporting, and database providers to run the Service. We are not responsible for outages or errors caused by those providers, beyond what Singapore law requires.

You agree not to:

• use the Service for anything unlawful, harmful, or harassing;
• scrape, bulk-copy, or republish place data, photos, or maps from Eayo except as allowed by us and by Google’s terms;
• reverse engineer, interfere with, or overload the Service;
• misuse location, guest sessions, or “Delete my data”;
• impersonate us or misrepresent Eayo suggestions as official venue advice, bookings, or certifications;
• use Eayo to build a competing places product by systematically copying results.

We may suspend or stop providing the Service if we reasonably believe you have broken these Terms.

Eayo, including the name, logo, design, copy, and software, is owned by BUILDWITHTHERESA PTE. LTD. or its licensors. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on your device for its intended purpose.

You do not get any rights in Google’s maps, place content, or photos.

If you share a plan card or similar content from the app, you may do so for personal, non-commercial use. Do not remove branding in a way that suggests the plan is unaffiliated or that we endorse a venue.

If you save plans or generate share images, you grant us a licence to store and process that content as needed to provide the Service (for example, showing Saved plans on your device).

Do not save or share content that is illegal, infringing, or that includes other people’s personal data without permission.

Eayo is currently provided free of charge. We may introduce paid features later. If we do, we will explain prices and billing in the app or in updated Terms before we charge you. Venue bills are always paid to the venue, not to us.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or these Terms) at any time. For material changes to the Terms, we will update the effective date and post the new Terms. Continued use after a change means you accept the new Terms.

You can stop using Eayo at any time. You can also use Delete my data in the app to remove saved plans and local preferences on that device, subject to backups, legal retention, and technical limits described in the Privacy Policy.

We may delete inactive guest sessions or content as needed to operate the Service.

To the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant that suggestions will be accurate, uninterrupted, secure, or fit for a particular occasion.

We are not liable for what happens at a venue: food, drink, allergies, intoxication, transport, disputes with staff, or injury.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under Singapore law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

To the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law:

• we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or for lost profits, lost data, or missed bookings;
• our total liability to you for all claims arising out of the Service is limited to SGD 50, or the amount you paid us for Eayo in the 12 months before the claim (if any), whichever is higher.

This does not affect your non-excludable rights as a consumer under Singapore law.

You will indemnify us against claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your misuse of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your conduct at a venue you visited after using Eayo, except to the extent caused by our fraud or negligence.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. The courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may still seek injunctive relief in another jurisdiction if needed to protect our IP.
